Blurb
When Emma Vaile's
parents leave on a mysterious business trip, it gives her the perfect excuse to
be a rebellious teen. But then her best friend stops talking to her, the police
crash her party and Emma finds herself in the hands of a new guardian, Bennett
Stern, and on a plane to his museum-like mansion in New England. After
enrolling at Thatcher Academy, Emma settles in by making friends with the
popular crowd. She has memories of Thatcher she can't explain and strange
visions are haunting her. Emma doesn't trust anyone any more - except maybe
Bennett, but he's about to reveal a ghostly secret to her. One that will explain the visions ...and make
Emma fear for her life.

Ginny's (the pug's) Review:
My human wasn’t sure
when she picked this book up whether this book would have a writing style too
young for her; she was wrong and am glad she choose to pick this book up.
This book is all
about ghosts, good and bad, which is right up my doggy street as I love
anything to do with ghost and past life story plots. This plot focus on the
main character Emma who has been brought up to believe like everyone else that
things like ghost’s don’t exist, then
her family disappears and everything starts to go wrong.
This is a great read
with a 3D mystery that keeps you turning the pages to find out more; this book
has some shocking twists and turns that keeps the reader guessing and some great
initial character development and growth.
I thoroughly recommended this read and can’t wait for my human to pick
up Betrayal, hunting Emma #2
