GINNY (THE PUG'S) REVIEW:

While looking around my local library i came across this striking cover, after reading the blurb I just had to give this book a read and even though this wasn't one of my pug favorites, this book was an enjoying and thrilling ride that took me easily from 1888 to 2012 all in a turn of a page.

London shades series follow a charter named Rory Deveaux or formally known as Aurora, who has to battle not only a frighting murder who seems to be invisible but also has to battle cultural differences and being the new girl in a English college.

The name of the star which is cleverly named as there is a big link to this title and the ripper story which this book is loosely based on, i found facts like this throughout the book and this made the writing fun and interesting and added to my knowledge of this age old crime.

The ghost aspect of the story doesn't actually come into play until a least half way through the book, this part is beautifully layered and brings the mystery to full swing while allowing a perfect set up and tons of new questions for book number two: The madness underneath

I would recommended this book to crime/ mystery lovers and dark fantasy fans as both parts are beautiful written and blend well together.

OTHER BOOKS:
The Madness Underneath (Shades of London, #2)

I  hope you all have enjoy my review on this spooky book, please come back and visit soon.
