PUG REVIEW: BLOOD SONG BY CAT ADAMS

BLOOD SONG BY CAT ADAMS (PEN NAME FOR Cathy Clamp and C.T. Adams)- BLOOD SINGER #1

                                                  BLURB:
Bodyguard Celia Graves has definitely accepted her share of weird assignments, both human and supernatural. But her newest job takes the cake. Guarding a Prince from terrorists and religious fundamentalists is hard enough, but it seems like the entire supernatural world is after this guy too. When she is betrayed by those she is employed to help, and everything goes horribly wrong, Celia wakes to find herself transformed.

Neither human nor vampire, Celia has become an Abomination—something that should not exist—and now both human and supernatural alike want her dead. With the help of a few loyal friends—a sexy mage, a powerful werewolf, and a psychic cop—Celia does her best to stay alive. On the run from her enemies, Celia must try to discover who is behind her transformation…before it’s too late.

GINNY'S (THE PUG'S) REVIEW:

First of all let me say what a greatly written book this is,  my human brought this more on the how the cover look rather than the description of the book but I’m so glad she did.

From the first page we are thrown straight into the action and into the middle of the main characters, Celia’s, life. We are given only the basics of her personality and a rough out life of her life but the way the authors have chosen to write this story has you turning the pages well into the night to discover more about our stubborn yet enduring Celia who goes from normal human to something far more interesting and troublesome.

The writing style of this book is first person and rather blunt but this fits in well with the none stop action and fiery passion of the plot, although this is action packed there is some very serious issues that are brought up in this book that I believe are handled well, such as the reactions to certain characters death’s.

Apart from Celia there are some amazing characters here, my favourites was Dr Scott, Vicki and police detective Gibson and the sweet Mrs Dottie.

This is a must read for anyone, this book is filled with action, passion and magic, I can’t wait to read the second book as blood song ended on such a drama filled sentence, I can guarantee you’ll all be rushing out to buy it once you finish this book.

OTHER BOOKS IN BLOOD SINGER:
Siren Song (Blood Singer, #2)Demon Song (Blood Singer, #3)The Isis Collar (Blood Singer, #4)The Eldritch Conspiracy (Blood Singer, #5)

HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY REVIEW, GOODNIGHT
