THE PUG'S COVER THOUGHTS:
THIS COVER IS VERY EYE CATCHING AND I BET WHEN RELEASED WILL BE SHINY, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SHINY COVERS ON BOOKS.
THIS COVER IS EXCOTIC AND HINTS AT MYSTERY AND MAGIC WITH THE SILVERY SMOKE WINDING IT'S WAY UP  FROM THE ENIGMATIC BUILDINGS.

RAPTURE- FALLEN #4 - 12 JUNE 2012
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

Rapture (Fallen, #4)The sky is dark with wings . . . .

Like sand in an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past they must find the place where the angels fell to earth. Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this—live only to lose Luce again and again.

Yet together they will face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies . . . and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed. And suddenly Luce knows what must happen.

For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now will be the only one that truly matters.

In the fight for Luce, who will win?

The astonishing conclusion to the FALLEN series. Heaven can’t wait any longer.

THE PUGS COVER THOUGHTS:

I LIKE HOW ALL THESE COVERS HAVE STAYED TO THE SAME THEME, THE MOODY BLUE WORKS WELL WITH THE STARK WHITE OF THE DRESS, THIS I BELIEVE GIVES THIS BOOK A LESS GOTHIC FEEL THAN THE PREVIOUS BOOKS IN THE FALLEN SERIES, THE DRESSE'S COLOUR MAY ALSO SIGNIFY SOMETHING ABOUT THE STATE OF THE CURSE, COMPARED TO THE DARKNESS IT WAS BEFORE, HENCE PERVIOUS DRESSES BEING BLACK.
THE WHOLE COVER GIVES OFF A LONELY, SOMEWHAT ROUGH FEEL CREATED BY THE FIGURES FLYING AWAY AND THE DARK PEBBEL BEACH UNDERNEATH THE CHARATERS FEET.  THIS PERHAPS SIGNIFIES MAYBE A NOT SO HAPPY ENDING FOR OUR BELOVED CHARATERS.

 THE GOLDEN LILLY-BLOODLINES #2- 12 JUNE 2012
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

The Golden Lily (Bloodlines, #2)The second thrilling installment in Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy spinoff series

Tough, brainy alchemist Sydney Sage and doe-eyed Moroi princess Jill Dragomir are in hiding at a human boarding school in the sunny, glamorous world of Palm Springs, California. The students--children of the wealthy and powerful--carry on with their lives in blissful ignorance, while Sydney, Jill, Eddie, and Adrian must do everything in their power to keep their secret safe. But with forbidden romances, unexpected spirit bonds, and the threat of Strigoi moving ever closer, hiding the truth is harder than anyone thought.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Richelle Mead's breathtaking Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive. In this second book, the drama is hotter, the romances are steamier, and the stakes are even higher.

THE PUG'S COVER THOUGHTS:
I LOVE THE SOFT SANDY COLOURS OF THIS COVER AND I LOVE THE FLOWER TYPE SET OF THE TITLE, THIS COVER IS SIMPLE BUT EYE CATCHING WITH JUST THE MODLE'S FACE IN TWO DIFFERENT ANGLES, THIS OFTEN MEANS TWO DIFFERENT FACES TO THE CHARATER'S PERSONALITY OR A DEVELOPMENT IN THE CHARATER'S BEHAVOUR/ SITUATION.
ALTHOUGH A VERY SOFT COVER PRINT, IT IS LIVENED UP BY THE SHOCKING BLUE OF HER EYES THAT AUTOMATIC DRAWS THE READERS IN, BLUE EYES IN A PERSON OFTEN SIGNIFY YOUTHFULLNESS AND IS SUPPOSED TO BE HHIGHLY DESIRABLE.
I CANT WAIT TO START THIS SERIES.

FOR DARKNESS SHOWS THE STARS- 12 JUNE 2012

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

For Darkness Shows the Stars Generations ago, a genetic experiment gone wrong—the Reduction—decimated humanity, giving rise to a Luddite nobility who outlawed most technology.

Elliot North has always known her place in this world. Four years ago Elliot refused to run away with her childhood sweetheart, the servant Kai, choosing duty to her family’s estate over love. Since then the world has changed: a new class of Post-Reductionists is jumpstarting the wheel of progress, and Elliot’s estate is foundering, forcing her to rent land to the mysterious Cloud Fleet, a group of shipbuilders that includes renowned explorer Captain Malakai Wentforth—an almost unrecognizable Kai. And while Elliot wonders if this could be their second chance, Kai seems determined to show Elliot exactly what she gave up when she let him go.

But Elliot soon discovers her old friend carries a secret—one that could change their society . . . or bring it to its knees. And again, she’s faced with a choice: cling to what she’s been raised to believe, or cast her lot with the only boy she’s ever loved, even if she’s lost him forever.

Inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion, For Darkness Shows the Stars is a breathtaking romance about opening your mind to the future and your heart to the one person you know can break it.

PUG'S COVER THOUGHTS:
THIS IS BEAUITFUL COVER, IT IS AN EXTREMELY EYE CATCHING WITH A MYSTERIOUS, GLAMOROUS, ROMANTIC FEEL TO IT.  I CANT WAIT TO READ A COPY.

THIS IS NOT A TEST- 19 JUNE 2012

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

This is Not a TestIt’s the end of the world. Six students have taken cover in Cortege High but shelter is little comfort when the dead outside won’t stop pounding on the doors. One bite is all it takes to kill a person and bring them back as a monstrous version of their former self.

To Sloane Price, that doesn’t sound so bad. Six months ago, her world collapsed and since then, she’s failed to find a reason to keep going. Now seems like the perfect time to give up. As Sloane eagerly waits for the barricades to fall, she’s forced to witness the apocalypse through the eyes of five people who actually want to live.

But as the days crawl by, the motivations for survival change in startling ways and soon the group’s fate is determined less and less by what’s happening outside and more and more by the unpredictable and violent bids for life—and death—inside.

When everything is gone, what do you hold on to?

THE PUG'S COVER THOUGHTS:
THIS COVER, IM AFRAID FOR ME DOESN'T DO MUCH, I DONT THINK IT FITS WELL WITH THE TITLE SUBJECT, APART FROM A SENSE OF HORROR I PRECEIVE FROM THE MOODY BLUE COLOUR SCHEME AND THE MODLES STRAINED POSITION AND HER HAIR THAT IS COVERING HER FACE I CANT GET A SENSE ON WHAT THE BOOK IS ABOUT.  ALTHOUGH THE COVER ISN'T ONE OF MY FAV'S THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD READ.

I HOPE YOU HAVE ALL ENJOY MY INTRODUCTION TO JUNE'S NEW RELEASES AND FOUND SOME NEW BOOKS TO LOVE.  MORE JUNE BOOK POST COMING IN THE WEEK. SEE YOU ALL SOON! CHECK BELOW FOR MY WORSE AND FAVOURITE OF TONIGHTS COVERS.
